The article presents the scientific categories underlying the development of the principles of modern philosophical theory of values: consistency and integrity, social and cultural environment, the dialogic interaction of cultures, interiorization and exteriorization of cultural values, etc. Formulated the basic principles of modern axiology, on which the author builds scientific reasoning axiological bases of the General theory of upbringing. Set logical link axiological principles with scientific-governmental functions of the General theory of upbringing. Axiological provisions of the general theory of upbringing were formulated.
