Objective: This study aimed to evaluate the immediate effect of peptides associated with drug delivery using nanoneedles. Methods: This cross-sectional, randomised, controlled trial study investigated the levels of transepidermal water loss after the application of nanoneedles and the ability of peptides to recover the skin barrier. Results: According to the results, the groups treated with peptides improved hydration, vascularisation, and sensitivity of the tissue and reduced the evaporation of superficial water from the skin. Conclusion: The literature regarding the effects of peptides present in cosmeceuticals is scarce, and further studies are needed to clarify the results found.
