May warrant caution with epicardial pacing in electrical storm; leaves open mechanism and ablation targets.
Case Report (n=1)
This case report highlights the induction of a wide QRS complex arrhythmia with alternating morphology during epicardial pacing in a patient with prior MI and electrical storm, raising questions about its mechanism and ablation strategy.
González‐Torrecilla et al. (2016) conducted a case report in Electrical storm (n=1). Epicardial ventricular pacing and mapping was evaluated. Epicardial ventricular pacing trains readily induced a wide QRS complex rhythm with alternating QRS morphology and very long stimulus QRS intervals in a patient with an electrical storm.
