The article describes the gaming techniques of children’s poetry, formed under the influence of S. Marshak, K. Chukovsky, Yu. Tuvim, G. Sapgir. Using the example of the traditional and at the same time grotesque image of a grandmother, the implementation of these techniques in the poems of Yu. Usachev, T. Sobakin, E. Moshkovskaya, O. Grigoriev and other modern children’s poets is considered.
