Abstract

The renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system (RAS) plays an important role in the pathophysiology of COVID-19. The role of the angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE), which is part of RAS, in COVID-19 is unclear. The study aimed to investigate whether there was a relationship between serum ACE level at admission and disease severity in COVID-19.
