Presentation investigates NVH control of e-compressors, reducing noise in electric vehicles, suggesting improvements for quieter operation.
This presentation systematically investigates the Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH) control strategies for electric compressors (e-compressors) in modern electric vehicles. First, it introduces the comprehensive development methodology and structural isolation design, specifically comparing single-degree-of-freedom (1 DOF) and two-stage vibration isolation systems for compressor brackets. Analysis shows that while two-stage isolation significantly improves high-frequency attenuation, it requires careful optimization to manage newly introduced resonance peaks. Furthermore, Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) technology is implemented using a hybrid sensor scheme. Experimental results demonstrate a remarkable reduction of over 15 dB(A) in the first-order compressor noise, achieving a 7.5 dB(A) decrease in overall sound pressure level under complex thermal management operating conditions. Finally, the study explores emerging trends in automotive NVH engineering, highlighting the application of the Blocked Force method for advanced Transfer Path Analysis (TPA) and biomimetic acoustic design approaches.
