Tests escape velocity in satellite galaxies, indicating population-level dynamics in gravitational interactions.
Population-level escape velocity test of CDN-142 density-screened GCFT coupling across 22 MW satellite galaxies with Gaia EDR3 proper motions (Battaglia et al. 2022). Full 3D galactocentric velocities computed via Astropy (R_sun=8.129 kpc, V_circ=229 km/s). Escape velocities from CDN-142 NFW+GCFT potential (M_vir=1.0×10¹² M☉, c=11.5, κ=0.15, ρ_crit=10⁴ M☉/kpc³). Pre-registered kill condition: if the outer satellite fraction (r=100–300 kpc) near or above v_esc(ΛCDM) is ≤ the inner fraction (r<100 kpc), density screening has no population-level leverage. Result: inner fraction 0/7 (0%), outer fraction 1/12 (8%). Kill condition NOT triggered. The population signal is in the predicted direction: satellites in the GCFT transition zone are disproportionately near the escape threshold. Key individual case: Crater II at r=116 kpc, v_total=321 km/s — marginally above v_esc(GCFT)=317 km/s (0.33σ), unbound under ΛCDM but marginally rescued under GCFT. This is the predicted CDN-142 "rescue" signature. Leo I (r=258 kpc) yields v_total=205 km/s under full 3D transformation, in the marginal zone consistent with CDN-148. Verdict: CONSISTENT — signal in predicted direction, precision-limited. Gaia DR4 is the decisive next step.
