ABSTRACT The present study examines the level of user satisfaction with Information andCommunication Technology (ICT) usage in university libraries of Tripura. The study focuseson the availability of ICT facilities, the purpose of using ICT services, and the level ofsatisfaction among users. A structured questionnaire was used to collect data from facultymembers and research scholars of selected universities. A total of 1290 questionnaires weredistributed, out of which 1050 valid responses were received, giving a response rate of81.4%. The findings reveal that research scholars are the major users of ICT facilities inuniversity libraries. Most respondents visit the library frequently and use ICT mainly for skilldevelopment, learning, and accessing information resources. The study also shows that usersare most satisfied with remote access to resources and the improvement of service qualitythrough ICT. Overall, the results indicate a moderate level of user satisfaction with ICTfacilities and services in university libraries. The study highlights the importance ofimproving ICT infrastructure and services to enhance user satisfaction and effectiveutilization of digital resources.
