Geophysical survey identifies medieval abbey building remains in Berkshire, suggesting historical significance.
Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) survey with 450MHz antenna The survey found evidence of building foundations which lay around the surviving medieval building and occupied two distinct alignments. These are almost certainly the remains of the medieval abbey buildings, perhaps including parts of the church and cloisters. Some other features were identified which may be minor remains associated with the post-medieval gardens.
