Questionnaire survey examines manufacturing practices for precast concrete components in certified factories, highlighting trends in equipment and heat curing methods.
In this report, a questionnaire survey was conducted on factories that have obtained “N(T) Certification,” “N Certification,” or “N+H Certification” in the Prefabricated Construction Materials Association’s “PC Component Quality Certification.” In terms of factory overview, the scale of the factory has increased with the N+H certification, and as a result, the number of mixers has increased and the stockyard area has also become larger. Regarding whether or not heat curing was performed, there was a tendency for responses to heat curing to increase when the component thickness was 300 mm or less, in winter, and when the design standard strength was low.
