Does the LuX-Valve Plus transjugular tricuspid valve replacement system improve clinical outcomes in high-surgical-risk patients with severe symptomatic tricuspid regurgitation requiring a large-size valve?
This report provides 12-month clinical outcomes for a novel transjugular tricuspid valve replacement system in a challenging patient population with large tricuspid annuli.
Transcatheter tricuspid valve replacement (TTVR) is an emerging therapeutic option for high-surgical-risk patients with severe symptomatic tricuspid regurgitation (TR). This report presents 12-month clinical outcomes of the novel LuX-Valve Plus transjugular tricuspid valve replacement system in high-surgical-risk patients with severe TR who required large-size LuX-Valve (55mm, 60mm, 65mm or 70mm), a patient population for whom both treatment options and reported TTVR outcomes have been limited to date.
