Investigates combined targeting of ovarian cancer using a novel ADC and prokineticin 2, suggesting new treatment avenues.
Ovarian cancer (OC) is the most lethal gynaecological malignancy, driven by late diagnosis and resistance to treatments highlighting the need for new therapeutic strategies. We developed an Antibody–Drug Conjugate (ADC) targeting the Receptor for Advanced Glycation End products (RAGE), highly expressed in OC. Given the key role of the tumour microenvironment (TME), we also investigated prokineticin2 (PROK2), a protein that regulate the differentiation of adipocytes, a central energy source for tumour cells.
