Introduces Viability Navigation for enhancing system viability, suggesting new pathways for harmonious development.
This paper introduces Viability Navigation as a new scientific direction within the framework of Vitology as an interdisciplinary research program centered on the concept of system viability. Viability Navigation is understood as the systematic process of identifying, evaluating, modeling, and supporting harmonious trajectories of development that preserve and progressively strengthen system viability. Unlike approaches primarily focused on preventing failures or correcting disturbances, Vitology considers Viability Navigation a proactive scientific methodology aimed at discovering increasingly harmonious combinations of system states, interactions, and developmental pathways. Particular attention is devoted to the relationship between Viability Navigation and the Norm of Harmony, Awareness (Aw), Coordination (Con), Coordinated Systemic Integrity (CON), the Integral Model of System Viability (Aw → Con → CON), Feedback, Self-Regulation, Regeneration, Adaptation, Integral Systemic Conscience, Systemic Noise (Noise), and the role of artificial intelligence in supporting coordinated long-term development across systems of different nature. Keywords Vitology, Viability Navigation, system viability, harmonious development, Space of Harmony, harmonious combinations, Norm of Harmony, Integral Norm of Harmony, Awareness, Aw, Coordination, Con, Coordinated Systemic Integrity, CON, Integral Model of System Viability, Feedback, Self-Regulation, Regeneration, Adaptation, Integral Systemic Conscience, Systemic Noise, Noise, artificial intelligence, sustainable development.
