Randomized trial establishes a link between discrete symmetries and continuous gauge groups, suggesting a unified mathematical structure.
We construct an explicit chain of embeddings connecting the discrete Conway group Co₁ = Aut(Λ₂₄)/{±1} with the continuous gauge group SU(26): Co₁ ↪ SO(24) ↪ SU(24) ↪ U(24)×U(2) ↪ SU(26). We prove the exact decomposition of the Lie algebra su(26) = so(26) ⊕ i·symm₀(26) with dimensions 325+350=675 and provide a complete classification of all 675 generators under the subgroup SU(24)×SU(2)×U(1). The base values of the polynomial n(k) — n(-1)=8, n(2)=4, n(1)=26 — are shown to be the arithmetic signature of this chain, corresponding to the division algebras (octonions, quaternions) and the fundamental representation of SU(26). This result bridges discrete and continuous symmetries in a unified mathematical structure. Languages: Russian, English. License: UAL v1.0.
