This conceptual framework defines space and Evoltropy as separate entities, highlighting implications for gravity and singularities.
General Relativity successfully describes gravitation through the geometry of spacetime, yet the fundamental nature of time remains unresolved. This paper proposes an alternative ontological foundation in which space and Evoltropy belong to distinct physical categories. Space represents geometric extension, whereas Evoltropy represents the local rate of physical becoming. Time is defined operationally as the accumulated measure of Evoltropy rather than as an independent geometric dimension. The Ontological Separation Principle states that space and Evoltropy cannot exchange their physical character under any physically admissible transformation. Within this framework, gravity modifies only the local evolution rate while leaving spatial geometry conceptually distinct. Combined with the Non-Zero Evolution Principle, this postulate naturally motivates the existence of a finite upper bound on gravitational strength and the absence of physical singularities. The present work establishes the conceptual and mathematical foundations of this framework while leaving the construction of complete field equations tofuture investigations.
