This theoretical framework reinterprets nebula formation as observable structural emergence, suggesting new insights into cosmic structures.
Short Abstract This study proposes an ontological reinterpretation of nebula formation within the framework of Dynamic Mass Flow (DMF) ontology. While standard cosmology successfully explains nebular evolution through gravitational instability and matter accumulation, it primarily focuses on dynamical processes after physical structures are assumed to exist. In contrast, the present work examines nebulae from the perspective of how observable structures emerge. Within the DMF ontology, nebulae are redefined not as products of accumulated matter but as transitional regions where previously unobservable correlation structures become observable under localized conditions of projection, localization, and constraint. This framework naturally accounts for several observed characteristics of nebulae, including weak centrality, filamentary morphology, pronounced boundary structures, and the absence of directly observed large-scale accretion flows. The study further reorganizes the relationship between nebulae and star formation by interpreting gravity primarily as a stabilization mechanism rather than the origin of structural emergence. Structural isomorphism with boundary phenomena such as the Casimir effect is also examined, suggesting that observable physical structures may arise through common principles operating across vastly different scales. Rather than replacing existing astrophysical theories, the DMF ontology provides a complementary ontological framework that preserves established observational results while offering a unified interpretation of nebulae, star formation, and large-scale cosmic structures as successive stages in the transition from unobservability to observability. Matsuoka x GPT Thought Experiment Lab | Research Center for Collaborative Intelligence, Optional Taxation, and BFSSU Cosmology Japanese Abstract
