Abnormal radiographs may be near-universal in this population; challenges prior reports of normal films but leaves open generalizability.
Contrary to some reports of normal chest radiographs in this population, this series found that 100% of patients with pulmonary hypertension from chronic pulmonary embolism had abnormal radiographic findings.
