Population
62 women aged 18-44 years newly diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) based on Rotterdam criteria, mean age 26.3, 35.5% overweight or obese, at a single center in Istanbul, Türkiye. Excluded: pregnant/lactating, cancer, congenital adrenal hyperplasia, Cushing's syndrome, hyperprolactinemia, inflammatory conditions, use of NSAIDs, statins, or antihypertensives, severe psychiatric disorders, endocrine/kidney/liver diseases, type 1 diabetes, or celiac disease.
