LV/RV enlargement in uncomplicated AVC but not with obstruction, plus reduced LVEF in both; leaves open prognostic value and need for longitudinal studies.
In patients with atrioventricular canal, left and right ventricles are enlarged in uncomplicated cases but not when associated with RV obstruction, and LV function is more compromised than RV function.
