Objective To compare the method between Lenstar-900 (LS900) and measuring the accuracy of the corneal curvature in patients with pre-adolescent myopes. Methods A prospective controlled study was carried out on randomly selected 99 paitents from the pre-adolescent myopes for orthkeratology optometry from June 2015 to January 2016 in Department of Ophthalmology, Ningde municipal hospital, the corneal curvature was measured with Lenstar - 900 (LS900) and corneal topography, and the corneal curvature measurement results of two kinds of instruments were analyzed. Results There was no significant difference about corneal curvature between the LS900 and corneal topography (P >0.05). Conclusions Measuring the corneal curvature in patients with refractive errors with Lenstar - 900 (LS900) is with high accuracy, at the same time it also can understand the data such as the eye axis, atria depth and lens thickness, the size of the pupil, WTW, and it can also calculate degree of intraocular lens, worthing clinical promotion.
