Challenges prior assumptions of isoform-specific temperature sensitivity; leaves open translation to human cardiac muscle performance.
In vitro motility assays reveal that while temperature sensitivity of myosin velocity is higher at lower temperatures, slow myosin isoforms do not exhibit higher temperature sensitivity than fast isoforms at the molecular level.
