This project presents an original board game that fosters cognitive development and strategic thinking through play, enhancing educational outcomes.
This document presents an original educational board game concept focused on the relationship between play, learning, strategic thinking, and cognitive development. The project explores how board games can become powerful educational tools by transforming abstract concepts into interactive, accessible, and engaging experiences. The game is designed around the principle of learning through play, where players develop knowledge and skills through observation, experimentation, reasoning, and decision-making. Rather than relying only on competition, the game encourages intellectual exploration by creating situations that require analysis, problem-solving, creativity, and strategic planning. This educational approach allows players to strengthen multiple abilities, including: logical reasoning; deduction and problem-solving; concentration and attention; memory development; spatial awareness; mathematical thinking; combinatorial reasoning; creativity and innovation; strategic decision-making. The project is particularly relevant for STEM education, as it connects game mechanics with scientific, mathematical, and logical concepts. Through interactive challenges, players can explore relationships between colors, shapes, numbers, patterns, and combinations while developing their capacity for analysis and experimentation. The game-based learning approach presented in this project aims to create a bridge between entertainment and education. It demonstrates how carefully designed board games can support children, families, educators, and learning communities by providing a motivating environment where knowledge acquisition happens naturally through action. This educational board game concept is intended for: schools and educational institutions; teachers and learning facilitators; families seeking meaningful recreational activities; game clubs; researchers and professionals interested in educational innovation and serious games. The project represents an innovative contribution to the field of educational games by combining strategy, logic, creativity, and interactive learning. It highlights the potential of board games as tools for developing intellectual skills while maintaining the pleasure and social interaction associated with play.
