2 patients with symptomatic recurrent atrioventricular nodal reentrant tachycardia (AVNRT) refractory to medical treatment with significant baseline PR interval prolongation (304 ms and 336 ms).

Intervention

Slow pathway (SP) ablation

Outcome

Normalization of PR interval, recurrence of AVNRT, and occurrence of high degree AV blocksurrogate

Slow pathway ablation is feasible and safe in patients with AVNRT and prolonged baseline PR interval, provided a preserved antegrade fast pathway is present.
