Comparative metaphysical analysis reveals individual minds as localized expressions of cosmic consciousness, suggesting conscious experience is a fundamental feature of reality.
This paper develops a comparative metaphysical model in which individual minds are treated as finite concretions of a unified cosmic consciousness. The analysis connects Neoplatonic emanation, the Nous and the World Soul with Spinoza's substance, attributes, modes, and conatus. It also discusses conceptual parallels with modern theoretical physics, especially string theory, quantum entanglement, and the holographic principle. On this basis, the paper formulates an integrated account of consciousness, mind–body unity, determinism, agency, and personal identity. The proposed framework supports an interdisciplinary interpretation of consciousness as a fundamental and relational feature of reality.
