Assessed theoretical knowledge, practical image-reading skills, clinical reasoning and decision-making scores, and trainee satisfaction using post-internship evaluations and questionnaires.
Practical skills (24.03 ± 1.18 vs. 23.21 ± 1.37), clinical reasoning (25.72 ± 1.85 vs. 24.17 ± 1.14), and total scores (84.41 ± 2.77 vs. 82.72 ± 2.45) were significantly higher in the MDT group compared to controls.
Theoretical knowledge scores showed no statistically significant difference between the MDT group and the control group (34.66 ± 2.44 vs. 35.34 ± 1.45, p = 0.197).
Interns in the MDT group reported significantly higher overall satisfaction with their educational training model compared to controls (χ² = 12.301, p = 0.002).
