The spin Hamiltonian parameters (g ∥, g ⊥, A ∥ and A ⊥) of Cu2+ in Zn2+-doped CCDAH have been determined in the temperature range of 300 K to 15 K. The temperature variation of the normalized intensity of the Cu2+ hyperfine lines was also studied in the above temperature range. Our data show that g ∥, A ∥ and A ⊥ values are unaffected by the presence of Zn2+ impurities in the crystal, while the g ⊥ changes significantly from the corresponding values previously reported for pure CCDAH (i.e., without Zn2+ doping). While g ∥ varied slightly with temperature (from 2.366 at 300 K to 2.351 at 15 K), g ⊥ remained virtually unaffected by temperature.
