The temperature and concentration dependences of the magnetoelectric (ME)H signal Pin and the critical magnetic field strenght Hc are studied. The continuity of these dependences in the region 30 to 93 mol% BiFeO3 shows that these materials possess the same type of electric ordering and are ferroelectrics. The completely contrary abrupt change of Pin and Hc in the region 93 mol% BiFeO3 indicates an appearance of the other electric ordering type – an antiparallel disposition of the electric dipoles, i.e. an antiferroelectric ordering. It is shown that in any case at positive temperatures, BiFeO3 is antiferroelectric possessing a polar space group.
