Br-Doped Bi 2 O 2 CO 3 exposed (001) facets were synthesized using CTAB as a surfactant and dopant. The highly enhanced photocatalytic performance of Br-doped Bi 2 O 2 CO 3 is attributed to the synergistic effects of the doping of Br − and the active exposed (001) crystal facet.
