Relationships Between Efficiency of Milk Production and Ruminal Volatile Fatty Acids of Cows Fed Isocaloric (ENE) Rations of Varied Concentrate Levels

Ruminal VFA determinations were made on four rumen ilstulated 1LIolsteins fed rations in which 90, 70, 50, or 30% of the ENE was supplied by concentrates. Digestible energy (DE) and TDN were determined along with milk production.
