High‐temperature Low‐cycle Fatigue Resistance Under Superimposed Stresses at Two Frequencies

Damage accumulation in both strain and stress control type fatigue tests are considered under duplex frequency loading conditions. The damage accumulation can be considered as a summation of damage due to static loading plus damage at each of the frequencies studied. An equation is derived that illustrates the distribution of total damage to failure under a variety of loading conditions.
