May support resection to mitigate arrhythmia and emboli risk in giant left auricular aneurysms; leaves open need for confirmatory studies.

An enormous left intrapericardial auricular aneurysm connected to the atrium by a torquated “neck” was removed and the risk of arrhythmias and emboli thereby abolished.
