The Laue distribution of electrical breakdown time delay (t d ) in nitrogen for values of afterglow period ( tau ) of the order of milliseconds (when the breakdown is initiated by ionization remaining from the previous discharge) is given. Results show that the Laue distribution is valid for these values of time delay. The formative time (t f ), obtained from distribution and histograms, is about 50 mu s.
