Theoretical analysis uncovers structural bounds in standard game theory frameworks, highlighting alternative projections beyond Nash equilibria.
We apply the 2D Heuristic of the Intelligible to game theory, diagnos- ing its local attractor: strategic predominance and Nash equilibria. Game theory is a projection of the intelligible — a resolution of tension between competition and collaboration. However, it has become trapped in a lo- cal attractor, mistaking local optimality for global coherence. This paper does not dismiss game theory — it locates it. The goal is not critique, but illumination: to show that game theory is a real and necessary projection, but not the only one.
