Immunohistochemical positivity for vimentin, CD10, CD31, and VEGFR-1 established the diagnosis of spindle cell angiosarcoma in an 80-year-old man with a difficult-to-diagnose subcutaneous tumor.
This case highlights the use of histopathology and immunohistochemistry in diagnosing spindle cell angiosarcoma, a rare and difficult-to-diagnose tumor.
