The experiment was set up to test the effects of feeding six aflatoxin dose levels, 0.008 mg aflatoxin B18 to 0.08 mg aflatoxin B 1 to six pairs of young dairy calves for six weeks. The aflatoxin was originally obtained from cultures of AspergiUus flavus grown on rice substrates :~ The afla~oxin dose rates were calculated on the basis of milligrams of B1 per kilogram of body weight per day. The quantity of G1 averaged 2.2 times greater than that of B1 for all batches.
