Dynamic RCA models correlate well with static models for TAWSS but poorly for OSI.
Effect estimate: correlation coefficient 0.89-0.95 for TAWSS; 0.38-0.60 for OSI
Neglecting dynamic motion of the RCA in computational models is acceptable for estimating TAWSS but may underestimate parameters related to the oscillatory nature of blood flow.

Static models suffice for TAWSS in RCA CFD; leaves open dynamic requirements for accurate OSI assessment.
Torii et al. (2009) studied Right coronary artery haemodynamics. Dynamic vessel motion modeling vs. Static geometry modeling was evaluated on Time-averaged wall shear stress (TAWSS) and oscillatory shear index (OSI) (correlation coefficient 0.89-0.95 for TAWSS; 0.38-0.60 for OSI). Dynamic vessel motion models of the right coronary artery correlated well with static models for time-averaged wall shear stress (r=0.89-0.95) but poorly for oscillatory shear index (r=0.38-0.60).
