Synopsis The synonymy of certain species of the mutillid genera Dasymutilla, Ephuta, Leuco‐spilomutilla, Pseudomethoca, Ptilomutilla, Sphaeropthalma, Talliwn and Traumatomutilla is discussed and reasons are given for the changes now proposed.
