ECG LVH and QRS amplitude abnormalities independently predict adverse CV events and mortality.
This educational lecture highlights the utility of QRS wave amplitude in inferring ventricular pathology and patient prognosis.
May enhance ECG-based risk stratification; confirms associations across populations but leaves open whether QRS changes should guide interventions.

(2012) conducted a review in Cardiovascular disease, Hypertension, Heart failure. QRS amplitude abnormalities (ECG LVH) vs. Normal QRS amplitude / No ECG LVH was evaluated. Electrocardiographic left ventricular hypertrophy and QRS amplitude abnormalities serve as independent predictors of adverse cardiovascular events and mortality across various patient populations.
