Liying Wu (2023) conducted an RCT in Hypertriglyceridemic acute pancreatitis (n=106). Low-molecular-weight heparin combined with insulin vs. Low-molecular-weight heparin alone or insulin alone was evaluated on Serum triglyceride (TG) level on day 6 of treatment (mmol/L) (p=<0.05). Low-molecular-weight heparin combined with insulin significantly reduced serum triglyceride levels on day 6 to 2.8 mmol/L compared to 5.0 mmol/L with LMWH alone and 4.3 mmol/L with insulin alone (P<0.05).
