The `pair ratio' method of differential resistance thermometry described in this paper is useful for precise measurement of small temperature difference in fluid flow systems, where the absolute temperature is likely to be drifting. It is based entirely on ratio measurements and does not require knowledge of the R 0 values of the thermometers. A simple and useful method for determining the coefficients of the thermometers is also described.
