Key result
Diagnostic 6F catheter enables successful mid-LAD stenting with complete revascularization.
Why the study?
Feasibility of percutaneous coronary intervention via diagnostic catheters has been demonstrated in few studies, motivating further exploration.

This case report demonstrates the feasibility of performing both coronary angiography and stenting using a 6 French diagnostic catheter.
Dubey et al. (2013) conducted a case report in Non-ST elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI) (n=1). 6 French diagnostic catheter was evaluated on Procedural success (stent deployment and TIMI III flow). A 6 French diagnostic catheter was successfully used for both coronary angiography and subsequent stenting in the mid-LAD, achieving TIMI III distal flow without residual stenosis.
