Key result
ACURATE neo valve achieves device success in ~95% of TAVI patients.
Why the study?
Several studies have investigated safety and efficacy of the ACURATE neo self-expanding transcatheter aortic valve, but meta-analysis and pooled data are lacking.
Population
5858 patients receiving ACURATE neo valve across 20 studies
Design
Systematic review and meta-analysis
Follow-up
30 days

Supports ACURATE neo for TAVI; strengthens Level 1 pooled evidence on device success.
Meta-Analysis (n=5,858)
TAVI with the ACURATE neo valve is associated with high device success and low rates of 30-day mortality and new pacemaker implantation.
A 2022 study conducted a meta-analysis in Aortic valve disease requiring transcatheter aortic valve implantation (n=5,858). ACURATE neo transcatheter aortic valve was evaluated on Device success as designated by Valve Academic Research Consortium-2 criteria (95% CI 91.4-96.5). Transcatheter aortic valve implantation with the ACURATE neo valve achieved device success in 94.5% (95% CI, 91.4-96.5%) of patients.
