VAFB-2021-30: Results of Archaeological Surface and Subsurface Survey in Support of the American Water Wastewater Maintenance Project on Vandenberg Space Force Base, California

This document is a letter report that presents the results of an excavation to assess potential effects to archaeological site CA-SBA-923 related to the American Water Wastewater Maintenance Project. The report provides details about the undertaking as well as a concise background of archaeology in the area. It then details the tasks executed as part of the assessment including the excavation of 8 shovel test pits (STP). No artifacts were recovered in any STP and therefore Applied Earthworks determined that the Project would have no adverse effect on the site.
