A new method of representing Kleene-based algebras is introduced. It is shown that the pasting of a certain pseudocomplemented distributive lattice and its dual over a Boolean sublattice is a KAN-algebra. A characterisation for KAN-algebras and Nelson algebras to be represented in the pastable form is given.
