Dual-system leadless CRT demonstrates feasibility through 1 year in initial US experience.
Why the study?
Completely leadless cardiac resynchronization therapy combining Micra AV pacemaker and WiSE-CRT systems has been reported in Europe but not in the United States.
This case report demonstrates the 1-year feasibility of completely leadless cardiac resynchronization therapy using a combination of Micra AV and WiSE-CRT systems in the US.
Completely leadless cardiac resynchronization therapy is feasible with the combination of Micra AV pacemaker (Medtronic Inc) and WiSE-CRT (EBR Inc) systems. Several reports have highlighted this combination in Europe. This case report presents a 1- year follow-up the first reported concomitant use of the leadless systems in the United States.
