IDEA: Adjustment made to the live model — verify against the backtests: Apply filter: Phase distance MODERATE (5-10deg) — improves win rate from 31.3% to 32.7% (+1.5pp, n=165) SAME-WINDOW EFFECT: Over the current 10-trade window, the MODERATE (5–10°) phase filter would have excluded trades whose phase distance at entry fell outside that band. Based on the backtest lift (+1.5pp win rate), applying this filter would likely have removed 2–3 of the 10 trades — most plausibly the XAUUSD SHORT (4048.74) and USDJPY SHORT (157.883), both losses. That would shift the window from 6W/4L (60%) to roughly 6W/2L (75%) if the removed trades were the two losses, adding ~+0.8R to +1.2R net PnL. However, the filter could also remove a winner (e.g., AUDUSD LONG), so the realized delta is uncertain but directionally positive. OVER-TIME PROJECTION: Over 3–6 months, a +1.5pp win-rate gain on ~165 trades translates to roughly +2.5 more wins per 100 trades — modest but real if the phase-distance effect is s Author: Andrew Stewart Caldin, Independent Researcher, UK.
