Key result
Framingham and SCORE overestimate 10-year CHD risk by ~130% in high social classes.

FRS/SCORE overpredict CHD risk more in higher SES groups; leaves open whether SES adjustment meaningfully improves risk stratification.
Ramsay et al. (2011) conducted a cohort in Coronary heart disease. Socioeconomic position (occupational social class) vs. Different social classes (I to V) was evaluated on Predicted vs observed 10-year coronary heart disease risk. Framingham and SCORE risk assessments over-estimated 10-year CHD risk, with over-prediction particularly marked in high social classes (FRS predicted/observed risk 2.30 in class I vs 1.19 in class V).
