EFMC Short Course on Medicinal Chemistry took place from April 19-22, 2026, in Oegstgeest, near Leiden in the Netherlands. Rather than focusing on a single topic, this anniversary edition reviewed some atypical approaches in medicinal chemistry as well as looked back at the past 20 years and forward to the next decades. The course gathered 26 attendees as well as 7 instructors from Europe, from both industry and academia. We report here the key points of each of the five sessions and workshops from this anniversary edition.
