The second International Workshop on Neuro-Symbolic Software Engineering (NSE) was held on April 12th, 2026, co-located with ICSE 2026 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. NSE is a focal point for software engineering research that combines symbolic and formal methods with learning-based techniques. By bringing together these methodological traditions, the workshop provides a forum for research on problems that require both sound reasoning and scalable machine learning. The second edition featured a keynote, two peer-reviewed research contributions, and invited talks spanning sustainable artificial intelligence, causal reasoning, knowledge-driven team formation, logic programming, and domain-specific code generation.
