This study examines the implementation of the talaqqi method to improve Qur’anic reading ability with tartil among Class XA students at Madrasah Aliyah Darussalam, Central Bengkulu Regency. The study was motivated by students’ low initial reading performance, with a pre-cycle average score of 55.3 and only 26% of students meeting the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM). This study employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) over two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The participants were 23 students, and data were collected through reading performance tests and observation sheets. The findings showed improved student achievement, with the average score rising from 55.3 in the pre-cycle assessment to 76 in Cycle I and 85.2 in Cycle II, and all students meeting the completeness criteria. The results indicate that the talaqqi method supports improvement in makhraj, tajwid accuracy, fluency, and the application of waqaf and ibtida’.
